Backpacking Trip for ages 15 - 18

Are you looking for a fun summer trip for an outdoorsy teenager? Join in on a Free Backpacking Trip for Ages 15 to 18.  The 3 day trip starts at Lime Mesa Trailhead.  We will camp near City Reservoir and day hike up along Silver Mesa. The trip is led by MK Gunn, a certified interpretive guide from San Juan Mountains Association, and guides from the San Juan National Forest and other local outdoor affiliates. Participants will need to carry most of their own provisions and gear (equipment list available). Free gear rentals may also be available. Some parents will be needed to help with transportation. Deadline to register is July 20th! There will be a mandatory meeting on July 21st.  This trip will be more challenging than the June trip and previous backpacking experience is strongly recommended.
